We are OBLIK, showroom and space for designer furniture in Berlin-Mitte, close to Rosenthaler Platz. To strengthen our activities, we're looking for a part-time consulting and sales taltent for designer furniture for 15–20 h per week.
Important — we're looking for someone with active experience in sales with consulting. Many client conversations take place in German, so a level of at least B1 or comparable is required.
Currently, we're representing the progressive brands Prostoria and Very Simple Kitchen, which have successfully established themselves on the international market in the last years. Stepwise, we'd like to expand our portfolio with other selected brands.
Requirements and skills
- You bring affinity for furniture, architecture and design to the table and have a good eye for aesthetics.
- Open-minded and communicative, you enjoy interacting with people.
- You have the ability to explain product details in a vivid way.
- Spoken and written, you have business fluency in German (at least B1 or comparable) and English.
- You are reliable and you can work independently.
- Should you speak Croatian or Italian, it's a little plus.
- You're familiar with standard Mac-Software and modern tools like Google (Drive / Docs / Sheets etc.), Notion.
- Practical knowledge of accounting software sevDesk or 3D software Sketchup are a plus.
Work and tasks
- presence in showroom during opening hours
- consulting of clients for furniture purchases
- client support in choosing combinations of colors or materials like fabrics, tops, woods, metals etc.
- client and manufacturer communication via email and phone
- layout and maintenance of showroom (maintain, position and adjust furniture, maintain plants)
- composition of proposals and order confirmations
- order processing
- research and education in the areas of aethetics and design
